The planning stage for the upcoming 2013 Corktown Historical Home & Garden Tour has begun. This year's event is promising to be quite different. Experience the essence of the Old Ball Park at Michigan and Trumbull. How about checking out the development of what promises to be two great assets to the Corktown neighborhood, The Detroit Institute of Bagels and Two James Spirits. Several historic homes and gardens will be open as well as Most Holy Trinity Church. Wayne State University will also be present at the site of the Workers' Row House to showcase their findings and a new dig is in the works, courtesy of the Privy Historian, Tony Panepucci.

Due to restrictions on selling merchandise at the St. Patrick's Day Parade, the Corktown Historical Society will not be out and about with Corktown shirts this year. If you would like to purchase something to celebrate our neighborhood over the "high holidays", we do have available:
